Registered under our sister company Intacare Limited, at Broomhouse we offer our service users quality care, set in a homely environment with comfortable, modern surroundings. A holistic approach to care is provided by a carefully selected, well-motivated team of specialist nurses, who are well versed in all modern concepts of care for people with learning disabilities. |
All the service users undergo a full assessment of their skills and needs, and individual service user plans set up and implemented by the qualified staff. Evaluation is on-going with plans being updated accordingly. Skill teaching, training and maintenance will be a priority to enhance quality and independence.
All the team respect the service users’ freedom of choice and help them develop their advocacy skills accordingly. If the service user is unable to do this, the nurse acts as their advocate, involving independent advocates as necessary, but only in the service user's best interest.

Bedrooms
All the bedrooms at Broomhouse are spacious, light and airy.
We decorate the rooms to an individual resident's taste and there is plenty of space for them to place items they have brought with them. We recognise that people have a need to have ornaments and pictures that are important to them and familiar objects close at hand make this a true 'home from home'. |
Dining
We offer a wide selection of meals that are cooked and prepared using local fresh ingredients for all our residents.
All dietary requirements are catered for including vegetarian and non-gluten options. We also encourage residents that are able to mobilise to eat out at the many restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area. For more information on our dining menu please feel free to get in contact with our home manager as we will be more than happy to discuss any queries you may have regarding specific dietary requirements. |
Garden
Here at Broomhouse we understand how little things make a place feel more homely.
Our garden features potted plants and hanging baskets showing off a huge range of foliage and flowers. The garden is constantly maintained bringing the service users out into the open on warm summer days. We also encourage those who are able and willing to help in the garden to do so and assist to tend to the many plants within the home itself. |
