Broomhill Care Centre is a purpose built home providing accommodation to 16 service users with en suite bedrooms. The building is spacious and is a safe environment with large and fresh communal areas, quiet areas which can be utilised for visiting, a sensory area and therapy areas including a therapy kitchen for those service users with rehabilitation needs.
There are also accessible laundry facilities available which will allow service users to develop their skills to live more independently. Broomhill provides an enclosed patio and garden area with double doors leading from the lounge areas, perfect for relaxing, socializing, summer barbeques, events and also gardening activities as part of their therapeutic timetable if this is an area of interest.
Additionally, Broomhill provides a sensory area which has been designed to facilitate the learning and practice of stress management skills offering the opportunity for self discovery and meaningful therapeutic activities.
Broomhill Care Centre is a nurse led home providing service users with 24 hour quality care from a qualified nursing team. All service users undergo a full initial assessment of their skills and needs which formulates their individual person centered care package and care plans tailored to their needs.
Evaluation is ongoing and our intervention is to improve individual’s skills in order for them to improve their quality of life and self esteem, providing a rehabilitation pathway for those also who have me their goals and are looking to return gradually to life in the community.

Bedrooms
All the bedrooms at Broomhill are spacious, light and airy.
We decorate the rooms to an individual service user's taste and there is plenty of space for them to place items they have brought with them. We recognise that people have a need to have ornaments and pictures that are important to them and familiar objects close at hand make this a true 'home from home'. |
Dining
We offer a wide selection of meals that are cooked and prepared using local fresh ingredients for all our service users.
All dietary requirements are catered for including vegetarian and non-gluten options. We also encourage service users that are able to mobilise to eat out at the many restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area. Garden
Here at Broomhill we understand how little things make a place feel more homely.
Our garden features potted plants and hanging baskets showing off a huge range of foliage and flowers. The garden is constantly maintained bringing the service users out into the open on warm summer days. We also encourage those who are able and willing to help in the garden to do so and assist to tend to the many plants within the home itself. |
